You will have a guided tour in the old olive mill and learn the traditional method of producing extra virgin olive oil. You will walk to the vineyards and the olive groves. In a patio area, an experienced cook will knead and bake traditional bread in a wood-oven. You will depart via motor coach and drive to Hal-Qormi, to Razzett l-Antik [Old Farmhouse]. There you will participate in a cooking challenge where you will be assigned to one of six kitchenettes, provided with setup, ingredients, aprons, and supervised by their Chef. Everyone will be encouraged to participate in the cooking. A table with ingredients will be provided in the center of your workstation, and you and your team will be asked to prepare a particular dish, according to the ingredients provided. Points will be given on ingredients, teamwork and presentation of food. You will also be able to take part in a food tasting including local Maltese Mediterranean Antipasti platters.
