You will proceed to Muri Lagoon by coach, board your glass-bottom boat for a cruise to Koromiri a motu (small island) near the reef in Muri Lagoon. Enjoy underwater views of the prolific marine life. Marvel at the rainbow-colored tropical fish as they glide around intricate coral heads. Local guides will relate stories of the island and share legendary tales and myths of the coconut tree. Take a short walk through the motu, or relax sunbathing, snorkeling or swimming in the crystal-clear waters. Enjoy light fruit refreshments before returning back across the lagoon to board your bus transfer to the pier. Please note : Wear your swimsuit, cover-up, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and towel. Along the way, you will be privy to sights and sounds regular visitors to the island would not typically have an opportunity to experience. You will learn how traditional Cook Islanders live, and your guide will provide you with an informative commentary on the various traditional uses of the local fauna and flora. Following your tour, you will be returned to the pier. Please note : As this tour involves travel over bumpy surfaces, guests with back and/or neck problems and guests with limited mobility are discouraged from participating.
