The oracle gave cryptic guidance to the leaders of the day and was so highly respected that Delphi, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, became known as the center of the world. An optional tour lets you go exploring, from the Temple of Apollo to the Delphi Archaeological Museum, which contains some of the finest works of art in Greece.

With 3,000 years of history, you can't turn around in Athens without encountering the past. The Acropolis, a UNESCO site, the Plaka, and the Acropolis Museum are must-sees. Myrina, Highlights of Lemnos *

This tour will commence with a drive to the East coast of Lemnos where the island's most important archaeological site of Poliochni lies. Here the Italian Archaeologists discovered back in 1930 seven different layers of civilization, one on the top of the other. Poliochni is considered one of the largest urban centers of the Early Bronze Age and the first city in Europe with a basic social and civic structure. The Neolithic town predates the Egyptian dynasties, the Minoan Kingdoms of Crete, and even the earliest level of Troy. Following your visit to Poliochni board your coach and head for Moudros , the second biggest town of the island and the first capital of Lemnos. There you will have some free time for a stroll along its seafront or to enjoy a coffee in one of the cafés. You will continue to the Allied Cemetery in Moudros. It is one of the two most important monuments the island has, of the Allied Expedition versus Gallipoli. Many victims of the 1st World War were buried here in clusters depending upon their nationality. From there you will return to Myrina and visit The Archaeological Museum of Lemnos , founded in 1961. In the museum you will see exhibits from excavations of the Italian Archaeological School in the ancient sites of Poliochni, Kavirio, Ifestia, and other spots all over the island. Also you will be acquainted with various historical periods of Lemnos (prehistoric, Age of Copper, Classical period). From the museum you will return to the port. Take a step back in time on this excursion to the Virgin Mary's House and ancient Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A 30-minute drive will bring you to the House of the Virgin Mary, where she is said to have lived the last years of her life. This hallowed site, which has been officially declared a Roman Catholic shrine, has hosted three Papal visits since 1967. Then you will take a 10-minute drive to Ephesus, where you will see with the Odeon Theatre , the Celsus Library and Hadrian Temple. This impressive Corinthian-style temple was dedicated in A.D. 118 and reconstructed in the 4th century. You will see the Great Theatre, dating back to the Hellenistic period. It was at this monumental site that St. Paul preached. As its acoustics remain excellent, this theatre is still in use today. The Marble Road which runs between the Theater and the Celsus Library is part of a sacred walkway. On your return, you will sip apple tea as a myriad of colors unfold before your eyes during a carpet-making demonstration. Or, you may return directly to the yacht, or remain in Kusadasi to shop or explore the town independently. Meet your professional guide and set off to visit the ruined city of ancient Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site founded by the Carians and Lelegs. Today, this is one of the most magnificent and best-preserved archaeological sites in the world. You will see the glorious Celsus Library façade, restored and reconstructed in the 1970s, the Temple of Hadrian , and the Great Theatre with a seating capacity of 25,000 people. You will also visit the Ephesus Archaeological Museum . This small museum in Selcuk boasts an incredible collection of Hellenistic and Roman statues, carved reliefs and artifacts unearthed from the ruins of Ephesus. The famous statue of Artemis (goddess of fertility) is housed here. At the end of your tour, you will stop for refreshments and a carpet demonstration at a local weaving village. Bodrum, Castle & Gulet Cruise *

Combine a visit to historic Bodrum Castle with a scenic cruise aboard a traditional "gulet" wooden boat. A 15-minute ride will bring you to the Castle of Bodrum, which was created by the Knights of Rhodes using stone plundered from the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Your visit will include the Sunken Boat Museum , showcasing underwater artifacts dating from the Bronze to the Middle Ages. Next, it's all aboard a typical boat ("gulet") to cruise among the Bodrum Peninsula's magnificent coves. These sturdy wooden sailing craft have been plying these waters for centuries. After a short bus ride from the port you will arrive at the Castle of Bodrum . To obtain stone to build the castle, the Knights of Rhodes tore down the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Visit the Sunken Boat Museum , with artifacts found underwater including cargo from a 13th century B.C. Syrian trade ship. Next, you will walk to the Mausoleum , which is Bodrum's oldest antiquity and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, built by Artemisia II in honor of her husband King Mausolos. The entire structure stood at over 150 feet tall and featured frescoes and other objects, some of which are now on display in the London Museum. Then you will walk back to the city center where your tour will end and you will have a chance to explore the town. Please note : This is a walking tour involving many steps which have been worn smooth with time and can therefore be slippery. Wear comfortable, rubber-soled shoes. As some areas of the castle are not shaded, wear a hat and sunscreen. It can get very warm here! Bring your camera. A short journey brings you to one of Santorini's foremost wineries where you will be able to sample some of the most famous wines of Santorin i. Leaving Santo Winery you will travel to visit the unique, underground labyrinth Wine Museum of Santorini where you will navigate the history of wine and have the opportunity to try four of the best wines. Board your coach and travel to the most northern point of the island, Oia Village . This dramatic little village, has many of its dwellings nestled in niches hewn into the volcanic rock. Argostoli, St. Andrews Monastery & Robola Winery

The Monastery of St. Andrew is famous for housing a bizarre relic which is claimed to be the sole of St. Andrew's right foot. During the 1953 earthquake the whitewashed covering of the inside of the church was loosened and revealed frescoes dating back to the 13th and 17th centuries which are now considered to be the island's biggest artistic treasures. At the Robola Winery you will visit the winery and you will get an insight into the production methods of the famous and rare Robola wine made from a local species of white grape which comes in red, white and sweet Muscat. The Kourkoumelata village after the earthquake of 1953 was rebuilt by a local wealthy citizen who financed the whole village to be built in a neo-classical style. Here you will be given the opportunity to wander through the village and admire the sweeping views of the sea below. Argostoli, Melissani Lake & Drogarati Cave *

Kephalonia is the largest of the Ionian island renowned for it's many caves, fir forests and fine beaches. From the quayside at Argostoli you will proceed towards Drogarati Cave. Upon your arrival at the cave you will proceed down a flight of steps leading to a cavern of orange and yellow stalactites and stalagmites. One of the great chambers has such fine acoustics that Maria Callas came there to sing, and concerts are occasionally held in the summer. You will then proceed in a northerly direction passing the town of Sami to the subterranean lake of Melissani . Small boats will be waiting to take you on a breathtaking trip across its mysterious salt water encircling you in a vast shimmering play of blue and violet colors, captured by the sun filtering through a hole in the chasm, 100 feet overhead. The water begins where you did in Argostoli, entering through swallow holes in the coast and traveling under the island to this cave. The tour will continue along the coast with spectacular views across the strait to the neighboring island of Ithaca, before arriving at Aghia Efthimia , standing at the base of Kephalonia's northernmost peninsular. You will then proceed west to Myrtos, where sheer white cliffs carpeted by green maquis frame a stunning crescent of tiny white pebbles and patches of sand against the deep blue sea. Please note : This tour involves a lot of driving. Although the roads are mostly in very good condition some parts contain a certain amount of winding uphill driving. Passengers suffering from motion sickness should take this into consideration. The visit to Melissani Lake will involve a certain amount of walking and steps. The boats at the lake are small with 12 seats each. There are quite a few steps to be considered at Drogarati Cave. This unusual and immersive tour leads you through the city’s captivating subterranean world, beginning with the Salesians Institute Tunnel Shelter, a long gallery used during World War II to protect schoolchildren from bombings, now illuminated softly and framed by red-brick arcades that give it a mystical atmosphere. Continue to the Crypt of St. Restituta in the historic Stampace district, a remarkable example of late Roman and Byzantine architecture dedicated to the Christian martyr Restituta; used as an underground church from the 17th century and later as an air-raid shelter, it remains one of Cagliari’s most significant historic sites. In the Marina district, explore the Archaeological Area of Sant’Eulalia, where Roman ruins—discovered by chance in the 1990s—reveal a forgotten urban landscape with a paved road, small temple, and traces of ancient dwellings. Cagliari, An Ancient Land *

Start your tour driving along Carlo Felice Route to the Museum Village of San Sperate . In 1967 , San Sperate became a museum village and hosts many works of important Italian and foreign artists. The idea to transform San Sperate into a museum village was born in 1966 by Pinuccio Sciola, who painted all the walls with white on the occasion of the Corpus Christi feast and invited several artists to paint their works on the village walls. In 1973 Felice traveled to Mexico City to work with David Alfaro Siqueiros. In 1976 he attended the Venice Biennale and in 1984 he exhibited at Besana and Piazza degli Affari, Milan. In 1985 his works were the Quadrennial in Rome and between1986 and 1987 a large traveling exhibition toured the most important cities in Germany. Then head for Dolianova where you will visit an old mill which produces olive oil. Dolianova has an old tradition in olive oil production. Then on to the village of Serdiana , where you will visit the Argiolas vineyards, famous for producing the best Sardinian wine. Visit the cellars excavated underground and formed by several vaulted rooms offering ideal climatic conditions. After this visit, nothing better than to delight you with a tasting of red and white wines accompanied by Sardinian cheese and sausages typical of the area. Return to Cagliari and the yacht or leave the coach close to the port entrance and visit the old town center on your own. Please note : Wear comfortable walking shoes.

Cagliari, Fish Market and Cagliari *

Begin your excursion with a short drive to the old Cagliari Fish Market. The San Benedetto market is considered to be the largest covered fish market in Italy and the varieties of fish you will come across is just stunning. Cagliari is very well served in terms of municipal markets, boasting five in total. These should not just be seen as somewhere useful to do your shopping, though naturally they serve this purpose very well, but as an excellent place to absorb a little of the local culture and its traditions. After the visit of the fish market your tour continues with a panoramic coach tour of the town passing in front of Bonaria Church and the Poetto Beach up to Monte Urpinu, from the top of the hill you can enjoy a beautiful view of Cagliari. Then you will take a walking tour through the old town, starting from the wonderful location of "Porta Cristina," visiting the 13th century Romanesque-Pisan Cathedral, with its portal, pulpits, paintings and original bell tower, then the " Elephant Tower " built by the Republic of Pisa , who dominated Cagliari until the 12th century. A beautiful panorama is clearly visible from the impressive " Bastione di Saint Remy" built on the top of the historical district of "Marina." Return to the yacht. Cagliari, Monte Arcosu Nature Reserve by 4x4 Adventure *

Your driver-guide will pick you up directly at the port in your 4-wheel-drive vehicle. Arriving at the reserve, begin your exploration with an intimate look at the area's fauna and flora. Interestingly, Monte Arcosu was once a private hunting reserve. Now a wildlife sanctuary, the park offers its resident creatures a place to peacefully feed and roam. One of the more well known animals of the park is the Sardinian deer. With numbers that were once on the decline due to poaching, the deer today are enjoying an increase in population. Also notable is the park's terrain and plant life. Monte Arcosu, the peak that lends its name to the reserve, is characterized by deep narrow valleys that host luxuriant woods. Holm oaks, cork oaks, myrtle, rosemary and rockrose are just a few of the trees and plants that can be found in the reserve's nearly 10,000 acres. Some of the animals that thrive here include the aforementioned Sardinian deer, along with wild boar, African wild cats, golden eagles and rare species such as the peregrine falcon and Tyrrhenian painted frog. You will also have to opportunity to enjoy a typical Sardinian snack. Leave your 4WD vehicle for an optional 40-minute guided walk through the reserve, for an opportunity to see some of these species up close. Then, return to your 4WD vehicle for the return to the pier and your waiting yacht. Please note: Dress in casual clothing and wear flat, comfortable shoes.

Cagliari, Archaeological Museum & Antico Caffe *

Your tour will start with a panoramic driving tour of Cagliari up to Monte Urpinu on the outskirts of Cagliari and enjoy sweeping views of the city and Poetto. Upon arriving at the ancient hilltop citadel, known as the Castello, you will disembark your coach and begin the guided walking portion of this tour. First visit the Archaeological Museum where you will see the "Giants of Mont Prama" a number of large statues found recently in Sardinia, and the subject of studies on the origin and dating. It was discovered that there are many certainties about the origins of Sardinia and other peoples who lived on the Mediterranean coast since the Egyptians. The statues have been the subject of interesting articles and have appeared in the major European and American press. Entering near the white limestone, 13th century Tower of St. Pancras. You will walk through the citadel's narrow streets and alleyways, which are lined with historically significant buildings. You'll see a Cathedral that the Pisans built in the 13th century, the Archbishop's Palace, and the Governor's Palace, which was once the seat of government. At the end of your promenade you will reach the Antico Caffè built in 1855. The bar owes much of its charm to the fascinating stories which make up its history. It was here that Sibilla Aleramo waited for her lover, sitting at a table near the bar, but she was not alone. Grazia Deledda, Emilio Lussu, D.H. Lawrence, Gabriele D'Annunzio, Salvatore Quasimodo, Elio Vittorini and Beniamino Gigli are just some of the illustrious figures to have patronized and loved this haunt. A snack of some dishes of Cagliari cuisine will be served for a 60 relaxing minutes in the special atmosphere of the Antico Caffè.
