Nearby, you will see the lavishly decorated Belem Tower , and the Monument to the Discoveries , built to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the death of Prince Henry the Navigator. On the way to the hotel or to the airport, you will see, stretching across the Tagus River, the April 25th Bridge , sister to the Golden Gate, and the towering Christ the King statue on the far side.
